We work in all materials — polystyrene carving, mould making, fibreglass production, set building and theming — producing items for TV, film, theatre, exhibitions, video, museums and every part of the promotional and advertising world.
We pride ourselves on meeting deadlines and liaising with the client throughout. We see the work through to completion: from concept to drawing, pattern making, prototypes, moulds, production runs and, when required, transport and installation on site.
I tend to see things in a 3D way, looking at the whole problem from start to finish rather than one step at a time.

Sculpture Studios was founded by Aden Hynes in 1988 and has been family-run for nearly forty years, creating sculptures for film, TV, theatre and the leisure industries. Over 500 projects have been delivered to date.
We work with polystyrene, styrofoam, clay, silicone rubber, fibreglass (GRP), plaster, reconstituted stone, concrete, bronze finish, clear cast resins, latex and more. We choose the right material for each project based on durability, finish, budget and whether the piece is for indoor or outdoor use.
Yes. We create sculptures from a few inches to 20ft statues, and have taken moulds as large as 50ft by 30ft. Projects include giant gorillas, dragons, chess pieces, ice creams, a polystyrene Grand Canyon and life-size fibreglass cheetahs.
